Frequently Asked Questions

It’s a myth that any foreign language is difficult to learn because with the right platform and the best tutors – you can become fluent in any of them. This is especially true with the German language since there’s no reason to doubt its simplicity. Why? It has simple-to-understand rules without too many complex nuances – ensuring you can quickly get a good grasp on grammar. Also, if you are fluent in English – the learning journey is easier since German and English come from the same language family!

Firstly, it’s important to note that the degree of fluency depends on your level progression. So, if you’re only planning on taking a super-fast free course– you can’t expect to hold fluent conversations with native speakers. Hence, it’s crucial to spend the right amount of time with expert teachers. But as a ballpark figure, it would take about 6 months to develop a reasonable degree of fluency in the German language.

Even though English and German stem from the same language family, Learning it for free only means you may impress people who don’t speak German! However, an interaction with a native speaker is very likely to bring to light the lack of a structured approach. So, if you want to have conversations with those who can actually speak German, you need to start with a beginner’s course and progress through the levels until you are fluent.

Age is no bar for learning new languages. It’s just that at different ages come different experiences. For example, kids are in a better position to pick up new accents and pronunciations. As for young adults, they may be more focused as they have more information on how they want to use the learning outcomes. Finally, adults have the advantage of having longer attention spans in order to absorb the details.

Remote learning is in – given the current fears about COVID-19 variants that prevent most schools and colleges from conducting offline classroom activities. But even hypothetically speaking, if the world safely moves to a pandemic-free era, there’s no doubt that people will continue leveraging remote platforms for a majority of their learning requirements. Once the mindset changes, often there’s no going back. So, yes – learning German online has become the norm.

Our German course is highly structured to provide measurable outcomes. In about three months – you can build a decent vocabulary range and ask for directions or have conversations about specific topics. In another three months, you can understand expressions, manage school projects, describe urgent issues and daily routines, and more.

Let’s break it down into three major factors:

Customized for individuals : We believe that every individual is unique. So, we customize the German language course based on unique needs.

Language specialists-only : Our German teachers are native speakers or specialized Indian teachers with an academic background in language and a passion for the culture.

Cognitive prowess : We incubate cognitive and cultural insights about the German language and society into the learning process.
