Frequently Asked Questions

The short answer is “No.” However, since the language is very analytical, it becomes easy to learn once you pick up its grammar through a structured course. Also, the French language is universally regarded as one of the most beautiful and melodious languages in the world – making it a breeze to start the journey for lovers of language and all things French!
It takes between six to twelve months to become fluent in French. Once you are familiar with the basics of grammar and pronunciation, you will have a lot more to learn and explore within the language. Gaining immersive mastery over any language takes both individual effort and an environment that constantly uses the language. With consistent practice and Curiority’s beginner’s program, however, you would be fluent enough to talk to a native speaker in a year.
The truth is, modern English borrows heavily from French. So, if you are looking to learn a few French words and phrases, it is very easy for you to do so independently. But if you want to become fluent in the French language, you will need a structured course to help you. French grammar is strictly gendered in most cases and requires time to get accustomed to. The nuances of the language are easier to learn in a structured setting.
It is easier to pick up any language, as is the case with any other language at a young age. But you can also learn French when you are older as it is a relatively simple language – whether to expand your cultural consumption, explore more art, travel to Europe, or avail more job opportunities. In fact, strong motivation is often the first step. At different ages, learners could be fascinated by different aspects of the language and culture, leading them to pick it up. And all of those reasons could make for excellent motivation to the individual learner.
Remote learning has become a norm in the post-pandemic world. It isn’t just language courses either – even schools and colleges have seen digital transformation at a large scale and a quick pace. Given how important learning a new language is, as we move into an increasingly borderless world – attending classes online is the easiest way to unlock a world of opportunities.
Our French curriculum is categorized into six units with varying levels of general, linguistic, and pragmatic competencies. When you attend this six-month course, you understand conversations in French relating to people and their surroundings without missing a beat!
Let’s break it down into three major factors:
Customized for individuals: We believe that every individual is unique. So, we customize the French language course based on unique needs.
Language specialists-only: Our French teachers are native speakers or specialized Indian teachers with an academic background in language and a passion for the culture.
Cognitive prowess: We incubate cognitive and cultural insights about the French language and society into the learning process.
